Descripción

En villa Santa Lucía se pueden ver los impresionantes efectos de la gran remoción en masa que en 2017 destruyó gran parte de esta localidad, causando el fallecimiento de más de 20 personas. Al descender la cuesta Moraga, es posible ver restos de material proveniente de la alta montaña que se encausó con gran energía por el río Burritos al costado occidental del camino, y que acabó por expandirse y depositarse en villa Santa Lucía. Esta localidad se encuentra aún en reconstrucción.

Cómo llegar

La Villa Santa Lucia se encuentra a 70 km de Chaitén, se puede llegar en auto o en buses que salen diariamente hacia Futaleufú o Palena, pasando por la Villa Santa Lucia.
