Diversidad cultural que combina tradiciones cordilleranas y de bordemar que se ven reflejadas en los modos de vida mantenidos debido a la falta de conectivdad con el resto del país. Las tradiciones, casi intactas, crean a verdaderos cultores y guardadores de un patrimonio rico en historia e identidad.

La información de los artesanos corresponden al programa de fortalecimiento y competitividad del rubro Artesanal en Patagonia Verde para los usuarios de INDAP, con el apoyo de PRODESAL y PDTI.
